About the project / EN

The Municipal Office Building in Saqqez reimagines a municipal building as public infrastructure for dialogue between the city and its people. Rather than treating the façade as a flat decorative surface, the proposal wraps the existing building in a functional architectural layer. Brick piers, framed openings and a vivid blue circulation band establish a new civic identity while creating thresholds, shade and places to pause. The project invites participation, learning and exchange beyond administrative use. Its form and materials make the municipality more open and approachable, turning an institutional building into a setting for everyday urban life.

ساختمان اداری سیما و منظر سقز، شهرداری را فراتر از یک فضای اداری و به‌عنوان بستری عمومی برای گفت‌وگوی شهر و شهروندان بازتعریف می‌کند. طرح به‌جای افزودن نمایی تزئینی، پوسته‌ای عملکردی پیرامون ساختمان موجود می‌سازد. پایه‌های آجری، بازشوهای قاب‌شده و مسیر آبی‌رنگ، هویتی تازه به بنا می‌دهند و آستانه‌هایی برای عبور، مکث و تعامل شکل می‌دهند. این فضا می‌تواند میزبان مشارکت، آموزش و تبادل نظر باشد و با زبانی برگرفته از مصالح و زمینهٔ شهری، ساختمان شهرداری را به زندگی روزمرهٔ مردم نزدیک‌تر کند.
